If you’ve completed our beginner classes or have been involved in Ballroom, Latin American or New Vogue dancing at another studio, and want to attend a more advanced class, we have classes from Bronze to Oscar medal levels.
We recommend you check our class timetable and then contact us to discuss the class best suited to you.
For ladies without partners, there are still many more women than men involved in our form of dance, particularly at the higher levels. We will do everything we can to find a suitable partner for you, but can’t guarantee a partner.

Footwork Dancesport Studio is affiliated with the New Zealand Federation of Dance Teachers (NZFDT) and provides the opportunity for students to undertake a medal test at various levels in Ballroom, Latin American and New Vogue. These internationally recognised medal tests give you a goal to aim for and are a great way to get feedback from an examiner on your dancing, but they are not compulsory. Social medals are available as well as all levels of International medals (Bronze through to Oscar). On completion of your medal test you will receive a report sheet with valuable comments from the examiner, a medal and certificate. |
